SCHOOL
BLOOD DRIVE
The award-winning KBC Elementary School Blood Drive enlists
school children to recruit adults to be blood donors to protect
our blood supply during the lean winter months. January is Fayette
County's month. Other central and eastern counties have their
drives in February and March. Check with your child's school to
see if it is participating.

This 3-day drive, January 31-February2, is a competition between
the University of Kentucky and KBC and the University of Arkansas
and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks to see who can collect
the most blood just prior to the annual UK-Razorbacks game. CKBC
collected the most blood in 2006. Can we do it again in '07? It's
up to you!
We also have a cool blue, long-sleeved blood
drive shirt for you when you donate!

the cattle drive as donors moooove down the trail toward a blood
